Mark Phillips
I am a current member of TCORN, currently serving on the Membership Committee. I'm looking forward to becoming more actively involved in my State organization. I am a member of AORN and a member of the eChapter Membership Commitee and I currently chair the Nominating Committees. I have been a Perioperative nurse for 20 years. I began my career as an orderly in an OR in 1987 and progressed to the level of OR Director and then became a Senior Consultant for Cardinal Health/Pyxis. Additionally, I have been a CNOR for the past 18 years. I am currently a graduate student at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in pursuit of my MSN degree. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, and the Texas Nurses Association. |

Carla Willis
A founding member in the organization, I have served as Chair (President) twice. Worked to increase initial membership with members across the state and set up format for organizational structure. Designed the TCORN logo. I have not been active over the past 5-6 years, except to remain a member. I have also served as president of AORN of Greater Houston twice and President of Bay Area of Houston Chapter. Have served as chair and member of many committees both local, state, and national AORN. I’m passionate about AORN and Perioperative nursing and hope to continue to be for many years.

Carla Johnston
I have been a member of AORN for more than 30 years. I have served as Chair of the TCORN Nominating Committee for the previous two years. I am currently a member of e-Chapter and a former member of the Mid-Cities and Dallas Chapters of AORN. I am passionate about perioperative nursing in Texas. I am interested in assisting to assure that the nursing practice agenda in Texas is supported through the legislative process. I will work to assist TCORN to remain strong and a significant voice in Austin and I it is my desire to continue in leadership with TCORN as Vice-President.
